Superstition Mountains Wilderness
We Arizonans are so lucky to live near such beautiful natural scenery. During the cooler months, the opportunities to explore the state are endless. Just get in the car, turn on that GPS, and don’t forget your camera! You never know what you might find.
Frank Lloyd Wright
We have the unique opportunity to tour, drive past, attend concerts, or even live in a later period FLW designed building. This is one of them: First Christian Church at 6750 North Seventh Avenue in Phoenix Arizona. Originally commissioned in 1949 to be a bible college, it was not completed until 1973; 14 years after his death. A typically Wrightian spire was added in 1978 made of over 300 tons of concrete, native stone, and steel. Later additions to the building were completed by Taliesin Architects to preserve and remain true to Wright’s original vision.
